Filmed in the Old Town, Puerto del Carmen (the harbour). and originally broadcast on UTV (ITV1 Northern Ireland) on 2nd March 2009, 8:00pm. The programme lasts 30 minutes, and explores things to do on holiday in Lanzarote (just 4 hours flying time from Belfast with Aer Lingus). Things to do include camel trekking Timanfaya National Park, Cuevas de los Verdes, Cesar Manrique Foundation and the vineyards of El Grifo. Beaches at Famara and Papagayo, and nightsptots such as Puerto del Carmen’s CC Atlantico, Arrecife and Playa Blanca (Wax Bar) are included in the full broadcast.
