That’s the impression I get from Orange. As the contract is almost up I asked for a PAC code to change networks, which they provided along with various offers to get me to stay. I enquired about staying with them today, and they say I can’t because I have paid a bill in the last 24 hours.
Oh well – if a communications company can’t communicate within itself to recognise that a customer who has had a line with them for over ten years has paid a bill recently, I’ll find someone who can.
Companies such as Orange can be good at providing Customer Service – we should all start a revolt against ‘procedures’ put in place by these conglomerates, it’s not their job to make us jump through hoops.
